There are many awards a Girl Scout can earn beyond earning badges and journeys. These additional awards can be earned at all levels Daisy to Amabassador.
This is the highest award a Junior Girl Scout (Grades 4-5) can earn. It is a 20 hour service project that can be done by a single Girl Scout, small group or by the entire troop. The Bronze Award is approved at the Troop level.
This is the highest award a Cadette Girl Scout (Grades 6-8) can earn. It is a 50 hour service project that can be done by a single Girl Scout or a small group. The Silver Award is approved at the Council level.
This is the highest award a Senior or Ambassador Girl Scout (Grades 10-12) can earn. It is an 80+ hour service project that is done by a single Girl Scout. The Gold Award is approved at the Council level.
